ok ok ok i got lots o tips!!!
Tip 1: take a washcloth or a small towel and leave it in ice water for about one hour then in the parks put it around your neck it cools you off great!
Tip 2: get one of those fan/water sprayer thingies (but dont get it at WDW of course it would end up being like 20 bucks) you can get them at wallmart for like 13 bucks

Tip 3: buy a cold slushie or anything ice cream related!
Tip 4: stand in those things that spray mist everywhere! there are a bunch of them at EPCOT
Tip 5: in MK there is this main street cimina thing and they have old mickey mouse cartoons and you can cool of there

During the summer of 2005 we went over the 4th of July.

My strategies included making sure to have dinner reservations at table service resturants where I knew we would have a break from the heat. I actually had table service for both lunch and dinner on the 4th. One reason was 4th of July crowds at the Magic Kingdom, the other was two cool breaks.

Other things were choosing attractions with a cool long indoor queue such as Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Also, Hall of presidents is a nice long rest in the air conditioning as is Carousel of Progress, Universe of Energy, American Adventure, well you get the idea.

Icy snack are always a plus in the summer.

The Tea Stand in China at the World Showcase is good as well as Peevy's Frozen Concoctions in MGM.

Also, lest we forget, one can never underestimate the benefits of plenty of water!

    Have fun!

Try out club cool at Epcot it is near the fountain in the worldshowcase. The temperature in there is 60 degrees or at least it used to be but they do have free soda where you can try coke products from all over the world... and yes I said free

Also looks for rides or shows that are indoors at the various parks for a break

I don't usually mind the heat so much, I just carry a bottle of water and refill it at the drinking fountains. My mom would carry a washcloth that she'd wet at all the drinking fountains along the way and kept it on her neck or would use it to cool her face with. Hats are good too, keeps the sun off your head. You can also cool your feet off in the kiddie fountain play areas. Don't forget sunscreen!

Drink plenty of water!!!!! You don't want to get dehydrated!

Also, there is a product called "Florida Water" that can be found in local drug stores. DO NOT DRINK IT!!! Its a type of cologne that will cool you off. You can mix it with water ( I'm not too sure of the ratio ) and place it on a washcloth and put it behind your neck. It works wonders!!!!

Most restraunts will give you a cup of ice free.

Take a paper towel or any cloth item and dip in water. Hold one end and spin really fast for a few seconds. This will make a cool compress. The spinning will cool down even boiling water in seconds.

Watch sweets and sugary drinks. Lots of water is best.

    Pace yourself.

Fill a water bottle and freeze it. This will later be good for cooling down your neck and for drinking.

Watch for holes in your clothes and hats. I had a shirt on the had decorative cut outs and end up with a spotted tan. People do not realize that even small pin prick sized holes allow for a sunburned spot.

Hats do help as your head can get fried fast.
Figment and Gurgi; chocolate and coffee; and my family. I like to cook, shop, VMK, ToonTown and sweepstaking. Trivia lover but memory not good enough.
