It is the same menu. I was very pleased with the selections. When in doubt, just ask your server but we were always told, yes, that's on the plan. Enjoy your tip. I am looking forward to using our plan on our next trip!
I've seen so much info on the places that are included in the dining plan, but I can't find out something. We are eating at the Coral Reef, Le Cellier, and a few other of the "nicer" restaurants. Is there anything that is excluded from any menu. I understand alcohol is not included, and some of the specialty drinks etc. What I'm wondering is, is there a special menu we order from, maybe cheaper items?
Thanks all!!

I'm using the DDP for the 1st time and have no idea what is include and what isn't. Especially when it comes to the "snacks" is there a list on the web I can look at or a guide on what to look for?
You need to check out the Disney Dining Plan page on Deb's Allearsnet.com site: http://allearsnet.com/pl/packages07a.htm
For table service meals, you get to order any one appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink off of the regular menu.
For counter service meals, you get to order any entree, dessert and drink off of the menu.
Snacks basically include any item on the counter service and food cart menus under about $4. They are very clearly marked with a square Disney Dining Plan symbol.
It is a great plan; the only disadvantage is having too much food to eat!![]()

The only things I have found not included in the DDP at participating restaurants are side items, speciality drinks and alcohol. Also, some of the things like appetizer platters or desert platters require two people to use their credit.
As soon as most server find out that You are on the plan, they help You out right away. They never seemed to mind. If you are way too full at the end of Your meal, make sure that You ask to have your desert wrapped to take out, that is, if You were so full from all the food they gave you. I shocked My family when I got home and they found out that I could not finish a meal. :-) Just one thing of help is too spread out Your meals, so that You are very hungry for a full table service meal for dinner, cause you do need alot of room in that Belly......

The DDP has become so popular Disney has changed what is offered (usually less) several times. If the trend continues there will be no food available on the DDP in a few years.![]()

I don't know what we would do with out the ddp.
The Plan in May was offering just about the whole menu, so I wonder what they had left out? Lots of choices and very big portions. A big guy like me was full evey time. and I do mean every time....

Thanks everyone for your help. My husband is a big eater, so he was wondering about like certain steaks at Le Cellier not allowed, or certain seafood items at The Coral Reef not allowed on the dining plan. I understand about alcohol not being included, but it was the actual food items, both for counter service and table service meals. Thanks again!!
To use your example, the steak at Le Cellier would be included, but if they have an option to add Shrimp to your steak, for example, those Shrimp would not be. But like everyone else said, when in doubt, just ask your server.
