Does Disney Have a Shopping Pass?

I know that some other parks have something called a shopping pass. That's where you get a certain amount of time to go into the park and shop without having to pay for a full day. Actually...you put down a deposit and get it back as long as you come out in time. We really want to get our daughter's first haircut at Disney, but the only place I know of is the place on Main Street. I really won't be able to afford to actually go to the parks for a few months yet and her hair is driving me nuts

I believe you pay a price, have a two hour window to buy items and return to guest relations to get the money back. As a CM I've heard of it because of a "guest situation".

Many people don't use them because the Disney stores are so prevalent and there is very little park-specific stuff anymore. Downtown Disney is the ultimate shopping pass.

But, if you go to Guest Relations, they will put a hold on your credit card for the amount of a day's pass and if you return within one hour, they will take the hold off. Otherwise, you get a charge. At least, that's what I've heard.

I know there is one for Disneyland, but I'm not positive about WDW.

In DLR, you get an hour to shop. You leave a credit card w/ Guest Relations. If you're not back at Guest Relations in an hour's time, they charge your credit card the price of a one day ticket.

    Seems fair to me!

According to Guest Relations, they DO NOT have shopping passes...however (and this is why I LOOOOOOVE Disney)...

They did let me go into MK to get my daughter's hair cut. It was so great! I had no idea that they would make such a big deal about it. I had a feeling that she might get a certificate or something (It is Disney after all), but they also gave her a pair of pink ears with "first haircut" on the back of them. Also, they wrapped her cut hair up with some Mickey confetti! I totally recommend doing a first haircut there if you get the chance.

Love the Disney Barber Shop... my son's first cut was there too...

So tell me... how exactly do you get let in just for a haircut? I mean did they follow you or something?

Awww! Great pics! I have no idea how to get mine on here. I did manage to put her as my avatar.

I had to put down the price of two tickets (me & hubby). They gave us 1 1/2 hours to go and come back for a refund. The barber shop is first come first serve, so we were lucky that there wasn't a wait when we got there.

So does the shopping pass work the same way (at other parks since we already know WDW doesn't offer it)? Like you're let in for a certain amount of time?
