Halloween Hayride

has anyone went to Fort Wilderness for halloween and done the halloween hayride i seen a clip of it on youtube.com... i was wondering if this something you need a ressie for or if its jus something you go and do and wait in line for out there??

ok i called fort wildness and this is what i was told..

its first come first service and she said things should start going on at 9pm at night!

so i think halloween night we might head over there!

i just seen a video on you tube where someone deco their campsite at fort wilderness... they had a bat hangiong and stuff...LOL i think we mighht have to walk around a bit there and see if anyone has done it this year

i also found this out about the halloween hayride

$15.00 + tax for ages 10 and up
$10.00 + tax for ages 3 - 9
10/13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
Tickets will be sold on a first come first come basis at the Ft. Wilderness Kennel from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the date of the Hayride. When the day's allotment is sold out, a sign will be posted in the Parking Lot.
There will be 6 hayrides each evening. Depending on the time of sunset, Wishes, etc. the times will vary.

does anyone know where the kennel is??? were having breakfast at chef mickeys the morning of halloween and its at 7:30 so i figured after breakfast we could stop and get the tickets

Fort Wilderness is the BEST for Christmas and Halloween Decorations. They always go REALLY all out!

I think the kennels are near the main parking lot where the intra-resort bus runs.

thanks... i remember on the way to the magic kingdom seeing what appeared to be kennels.. is that what it was?? or is??

Yes it is. Plutos doghouse is right outside so its easy to spot.

That probably won't work. Last year we showed up around 10:00am to purchase tickets, and they were long gone. I learned that people were lining up to buy tickets about 7:00am.
