Have a fun trip! This is my first post and I'm really enjoying reading these boards! We usually leave a twenty dollar bill on the table with the housekeeping card the day that we leave. It's usually four of us in the room for a week. I love the envelope idea!!

I think we decided on Pop Century to see what its like.
We are just hoping for the buses to be okay. We've stayed at the All-Stars a few times (Movies/Music) and if you don't hit it right, you're either waiting forever or standing, And with this being the 1st time bringing the baby we wanted to make sure we'd be okay. We love the French Quater, but decided to save a $ this time around.

I've stayed at Pop Century twice and ASMu once. Pop Century's busses are infinitely better. All of the stops have their own queues (unlike Music, which inexplicably has queues for only 2 of the five stops), and Pop Century doesn't share a route with any other resort. Every time I was picked up at Music, we always went to at least one of the other AS's as well.

There is frequently standing room only on the busses, however. At least, there is during peek times (ie, park opening and park closing). I never really tried going on the busses any other time...

Have a great time GopfyGuy. I bought my 13 year old Pal Mickey for her birthday the day before we left last year... she loved it, but now he just sits on the shelf waiting for our next trip. How old is your daughter, she might be young for Pal Mickey... It has some weight to it.

Hi Dac921 - Yeah she's only 1, I think I'll just get her a regular Mickey this time around. I might pick an official one up at a local DISNEY store here, and give it to her on the plane as a surprise.

I stayed at Pop Century last Sept, and it was great. It was super super clean and fresh. Not noisy at all. I was very satisfied with it and highly recommend it. We stayed in the "60's" section, behind the big Play-doh can. We had a beauitful view of the lakes and the sad, lonely looking unfinished property across the way. But wherever you do stay, there are plenty of things that make looking out the window fun, like the big lady and the tramp, the big wheel, and the foos ball game. And the buildings themselves are brightly colored and have memorabilia on them as well.

The rooms are small, but I think you will enjoy it. The food court is okay. The CM'y would do the Twist in the morning and something else in the evening and all the guests are supposed to join in.

When are y'all going? I'm going in Oct also. The 26th-31st for us.

We are taking our little one year old princess for the 1st time, so we'll be seeing it in a different way. I'm sure.

Yes, that is correct. The Housekeeping staff can vary from day to day. Also, the daily tipping will often prompt the housekeeper to leave "surprises" for your DD, such as the infamous towel animals. One night we came home to find the stuffed animals had commandeered the TV remote and were watching TV while we were in the parks! Another evening they were positioned looking through the blinds waiting up for us to get home. The kids really loved that.

Well, great! I'll be with my husband this time. We are staying at the Yacht Club. We are also going in either January or February. My neice is graduating, and I said I'd bring her for her graduation gift. Of course, my nephew who's 14 never been and there is no way to go without him.

I'm trying to talk my husband into staying at PC again when we go with the kids. We are probably going to have to get 2 rooms. I know the 4 of us cannot make do with 1 bathroom. Not only for the money, but because it was so nice. He likes to splurge a little when it's just us 2. That's why we are going to the Yacht Club this time. He likes the boat travelling for 2 of the parks.
