Tipping Mouse Keeping????
Hi All
First time posting - been reading all the posts for days....,
Taking wife and daughter (1year old) to WDW in October 07, Staying at Pop Century.
I have a question about tipping the house keepers, How much is a good tip? Where do you leave it? How do they know it's for them, do you put it in an envelope or with a note? Do you leave on every day? I could use the help on this, I don't want to seem cheap. And I know these workers work hard.
Any ideas?

Hello Goofy Guy. Glad your with us.
As far as tipping mousekeeping, this is what I do. I'm not sure about a percentage amount, but I typically leave a couple of dollars per day. There is generally a name card with the mousekeeper's name on it. I will put the money under the card and put it on the sink. I have often left change out of my pockets on the table and no one has ever bothered it, but I don't leave change for the mousekeepers only paper money. I try to leave money each day, because the mousekeeper may change from day to day.
Hope this helps.

There's an envelope you can download specifically for Mousekeeping. Ohhh, where is it? Need help on this one.

Thanks everyone!
It's great to be here.
I'll probably leave $3 under their name card a night. since there is 3 of us going.
We are planning on 3 Character Meals. MGM w/ Little Einsteins, Chef Mickeys (which me and my wife always did even before Little Adeline came along) and the one at the Crystal Palace in MK. We ordered our tickets last night for Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. She loves TIGGER so I'm pretty sure, we'll be on the hunt for TIGGER Merchandise.
Also, we were planning on buying a My Pal Mickey. Is this a good idea and worth the money? We thought she'd love it and have it attached inside her baby stroller.

We always make our own envelopes before we go with stickers and write MOUSEKEEPING on it. It makes it more personal.

Thanks everyone it's been a big help. Mousekeeping should be happy with us this time.
I think we decided on Pop Century to see what its like.
We are just hoping for the buses to be okay. We've stayed at the All-Stars a few times (Movies/Music) and if you don't hit it right, you're either waiting forever or standing, And with this being the 1st time bringing the baby we wanted to make sure we'd be okay. We love the French Quater, but decided to save a $ this time around.
54 Days and Counting!
