    Is Pete??

    a cat or a dog.. ?? i have thought for years he was a dog.. but on mickey mouse club have heard mickey ask him about a cat nap and on the halloween dvd he said theirs a big black cat in our path and it was pete.. so i guess he is a cat?? what do you think?

    i have only seen pete with Goofy and then on mickey mouse club house.. i had never really sat and wondered what he was until the cat statements come up..

    He is a cat......look at his ears and tail. In the earlier cartoons he actually had whiskers of sorts.
    It's a Disney thing. If you understood, your only question would be "can I go?"

    Pete was in Steamboat Willie with Mickey...he was much more cat like back then.
