Generally, to become a moderator you'd have to be a regularly contributing member of the site for a bit longer than 4 posts.
If there is a particular area in which you are interested in helping out on the site, you can PM or email myself or Lou. We are always looking for people to contribute articles to the Mouse M.A.P. section (see the "articles" tab above).
