What was the name of the EPCOT pavillion that...

...had The Making of Me (I think it was called) and all the other Human Body stuff? For the life of me, I cannot figure it out! Where was it? What else was in there with it?

We were at Epcot yesterday (BEST time ever, I'll post soon!) and were so curious and no one we remembered to stop and ask could tell us the answer?

Was that where Body Wars was too?

You are thinking of the Wonders of Life pavilion. It was located between Universe of Energy and Mission:Space. Yes, that was where The Making of Me, Body Wars, Cranium Command, Goofy About Me (movie) and the Fitness Fairgrounds.

It was used as the Festival Center for the Food & Wine Festival this year.

Wonders of Life.

It was nice to get to visit during the F&WF this year...sad to see the state of the building and attractions, but still a nice walk down Memory Lane!

I will always have fond memories of this pavillion. The first time I took my kids to Disney my eldest was 6 (I know... I'm a horrible mother). Anyway... he was about to start elementary school and the pediatrician told me that I'd better tell him something about the facts of life or else the middle schoolers on the bus would take great pleasure in doing so for me. I was shocked. I was horrified!! My baby?!?!? Of course, now that I have two middle schoolers of my own I know that the pediatrician was probably right.

Anyway... so here I am supposed to tell this six year old angel about the facts of life. Me... who never thought I'd have a problem with this. And I just couldn't figure out how to raise the topic. But then I realized... we were going to WDW in September. So I cheated -- I took them to "The Making of Me" and let Martin Short handle my dirty work. I call it "using my resources" and I will always have fond memories of this attraction.

^That is really a cute story. I remember when I went to see that film the first time, and thought "Oh my, what are showing here at DIsney????" But when it was over I remember thinking, "Well, that was tastefully handled."
