Local Supermarkets!
Hello Disney people!!
I was wondering if any of you knew of a good supermarket that is not too far from POFQ?
I am planning on saving some $$$ by buying in some breakfasty type things to nibble before we hit the parks!!

You can arrange for a grocery delivery. That way, you don't have to waste time and money getting to and from the store, shopping, waiting in line, etc.
I'm not sure I'm permitted to post links, but you can probably figure out the web addresses of Garden Grocer and Gooding's. GG is a stand-alone delivery service. Gooding's is a local market that offers delivery.

You have obviously never come across me on the pages before!!!

Could you pm it to me?

We usually go to Gooding's...it is just off property. It is a little more expensive than most places but hey you're on vacation, enjoy it!

Each resort's gift shop has a "grab and go" type section with cold beverages in larger bottles, milk and juice, some snack foods and other food items like Entemann's donuts. They cost more than they would in a grocery store, but less than buying every day at the food court. I packed a box of cereal bars and survived 4 mornings on those plus what I picked up at the gift shop, for a total cost under $10.
There are several Publix supermarkets nearby, further than Goodings though. If you are going to have a car, they're not that far off property and have just about everything.

Here is a link to a website on Supermarkets in the Kissimmee Area:

Hope this helps!

If you can get to a Publix, they are the best supermarkets in the Central Florida areas. Clean stores with moderate prices.

We have bought offsite and brought our breakfast items in our suitcases and buy milk & juice in the Disney Market/stores in the resorts. We pack bread or bagels in a plastic storage shoebox to help keep it from being smashed. Cereal and breakfast bars easily pack in our bags. Then we have more space in our bags on the way home for souvenirs. The storage boxes come in handy for any breakable items we may want to bring home.

I've been to Goodings and Publix, but there is a Winn Dixie very close to Down Town Disney. Publix is a little far, and Goodings is the closest.

^That is true, however Goodings is one of the most expensive grocery chains in Central Florida, and the one near DIsney is near the top of the price end even for them.

Here is a list of things that Homeland Security allows us to bring on airplanes. So unless UK law is different you should be fine.

At least you know that you can bring bread from America, lol!

What? You don't like our bread?
You can probably bring bread, but I don't think you can bring fresh fruits, vegetables and plants or meats.
