he can go to the Adventurers Club and the comedy club and the street party on pleasure island. Kids can be there any time so long as they are with parents. Pop Century does provide transportation to downtown disney and pleasure island.
Are kids allowed to go to Pleasure Island? (he's 11) I know he can't go into any clubs but can he go to the street party? What is available there that he would be able to do? What are the times that kids are allowed to be there? Does Disney provide transportation to Pleasure Island from hotels like pop century?
The street "party" is more or less people just walking around it is nothing special. While your son can get in the clubs another poster mentioned, I would advise against it because of his young age.

I had a really great time at the street party last time I was there. Do they still have live entertainment outside? What is the Adventurers Club? So my son can go into the Adventurers Club and the comedy club? What kind of comedy is it? I'd like my son to see it so he knows what's it's like. I don't plan on staying at PI all night but I'd like him to see it.Originally Posted by devkxl
There is usually NO more live entertainment on the streets.Originally Posted by LaBretonne2002
The Adventurers Club has a cast that "re-create" an Open House on New Years Eve 1937. It is loosely scripted but the cast improvises based on the guests. There are a lot of jokes that are risque, not "x-rated" but not really for an 11 year old either. I have been there when young children are in there and it has put a damper on what the cast does affect the quality of the show for the other guests.

Sonya, I think your son would have a much better time at DisneyQuest than Pleasure Island. You could pass through PI walking between DisneyQuest, in Downtown Disney West Side, and Downtown Disney Marketplace, just to catch a glimpse of it. If you must bring him into the clubs, at least go early in the evening, before it gets too crowded with adults looking for a party.
Another alternate is the Boardwalk for evening activities. It is much more family oriented.
No matter how hard you try, there is just no way to experience everything WDW has to offer in one trip. Leave him something to look forward to coming back to someday!

Do you mean the surrey bikes? They are still listed as available for rent.

Yes, there are some midway games, and some live entertainment in the evenings.
Here is a link to more info on all the Boardwalk area has:

I don't have current prices, but last year it was $16.90 per half hour for a 2 adult/3 little children bike, or $20.65 per half hour for a 4 adult/4 little children bike. There must be one person over 18.
This info was from the Polynesian, but I believe it was the same at all locations that rented them.
I believe the phone number for more info is 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529) or 57 from your guest room phone.
