A zipline is a wire that hangs in the air and is higher at one end than another. The user hangs on a pulley and free rides down. You can see one every night at the Magic Kingdom during Wishes when Tinkerbell "flies."

Thank you. All these years it was just "Tink's Wire" to us.

So I went back and re-read Lou's update. Zipline's. So there is going to be many Tink lines? Here is that part of Lou's update. I'm so confused.

Well, last week that same person, who has ties to Imagineering, said that designs for a park in that location were being considered. According to my source, he says that it will be on the very high end and operating in the evening only (4 PM to midnight). Plans included ziplines in the park and thrill ride attractions. Also that it would be an all-inclusive park, where food would be included in the approximate $300 price tag to get in. Could this be the Project H that I have heard spoken about? Who knows, but again, I just thought it would be fun to throw these out for the first show of the year, and see which, if any, we hear more about, or are just pure fantasy.

The way it's worded, I don't think it meant ziplines for performers, but for guests. As in, this would be a thrill-style attraction. Think American Gladiators' eliminator competition. :-) I've also seen some people doing ziplines on the Adventures By Disney vacations.

Sounds like a good stop for the Amazing Race program, the zipline they did in South America looked positively frightening. The new park thing sounds good, but pricey.
