So have the Christmas crowds left yet?

    Hi!!!

Still trying to plan a Christmas trip and was wondering if the Christmas mob has left yet? I've read that it is usually around the 2nd or 3rd, but was wondering if anyone knew for this year.

    Thanks so much!!!

We were are WDW from Jan 3 - 7. The first few days were really crowded. By mid-day on Jan 6 the crowds were noticiably smaller and continued to dcrease throughout the day. Sunday night at MK and Monday at AK it wasn't crowded at all. On Monday we had almost no wait for rides and no lines at all for counter service.

We left on the Jan 11th and the running crowd was getting in. The resorts were getting busy. At no time did we wait longer than 5 to 10 min to get on ANY ride except soarin. Of course we used single line much as possible but still no big wait at all when we didn't.

    Thanks everyone!!

We are trying to plan a Christmas trip to WDW but would rather wait until the first week of January. That way we can still see some of the Christmas decorations but hopefully not all of the crowds.

    Thanks again!!!

I have gone starting on the 3rd before and it was very dead. The other positive is that you still be able to see most of the decorations and even hear holiday music throughout the parks. So it is a good alternative if you cannot go in early December instead.

However if you go in early December you get to enjoy the Christmas decorations AND the smaller crowds....BONUS!
