Different from what...from the last time they saw it in FL? Are they talking about the comparison between the CA and FL versions of the show?

The original Fantasmic in the Disneyland park in Anaheim, CA does differ from the Fantasmic in the DHS park in Florida.
The main differences I can recall without googling:
    Where:
DL- on the water in Frontierland
MK - In the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre

    Seating:
DL - park your bottom on the walkway
MK - bleacher style seating in the above mentioned place

    Scenes:
DL - Peter Pan Hook scene
    MK - Pocahontas scene

    Ships:
DL - really uses both the Mark Twain and the sailing ship Columbia that you can board and visit during the day time
MK - Uses a "prop" version of a steam boat and nothing like the other ship is used....well there are Pocahontas canoes...

My preference is the DL one. And as far as I know, the version in FL hasn't been changed in years.

Also, DL uses more live action sequences, while WDW indulges in more and longer projections on water screens

Yeah I know that but someone told them that the one in Disney World has been changed. But I guess since no one knows about it, it can't be true.
