AKL DVC Value Rooms

Hi fans,

Does anyone know where the recently converted DVC Value Rooms are located within the AKL? Are they on specific floors or scattered throughout? Do they only have a parking lot view? Or, are they considered 'value' rooms simply due to the lower square footage?

Secondly, has anyone stayed in a Value Studio or a Value One-bedroom? If so, how do they compare to other DVC resort rooms?

According to Animal Kingdom Villas

The value rooms are being converted from the former "standard rooms" of the AKL (think floors 1-4). There are also some value two-bedroom villas. About half of the value rooms have a savanna view.

The "regular" studios are being built in rooms that are part of the "deluxe" category for the lodge, hence the larger size (think floors 5-6). Standard villa views may be of the pool, garden or parking lot.

Also, the value 1 bedrooms only sleep 4 while "regular" 1 bedrooms can sleep 5 with a fold-out chair.

Thanks, your the info. I had read the All Ears writeup on the AKL DVC rooms. I was hoping for either a review from someone who actually stayed in one of the value rooms, or a room map that indicated which rooms were value, particularly value studios. Maybe it is too soon, I'll post this question again in a couple of months. By then more people will have more experiences to share.
