Treehouse Village Resort?
I might have the name wrong, but weren't there some treehouse-type residences built on Lake Buena Vista many years ago? Are they still there? What are they used for? Are they residences or hotels?
Thanks for filling me in!

They were used for International CPs recently. I heard that they were going to be rebuilt.

When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.
I was just in WDW this past week. If I'm not mistaken the Tree House Villas were along the Sassagoula River (and can be seen en route to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans Riverside Resort.
When we were on the boat to DD, the driver of our boat said they were used (until fairly recently) to house the kids of the college internship program. On the way home, with a different driver, we got sadder news. The ones right along the river are the only ones (about 10 out of the original 60 or so) left. They stay lit at night so the river isn't pitch black, even though no one lives in them. He said it was true that the college kids stayed there, but raccoons routinely broke in so the kids are living somewhere else now. These houses on the banks are apparently scheduled for demolition.
This may be incorrect, but that's what we were told.
