So I am new here and am getting married next month. We are going to WDW for our honeymoon! I got us tickets to the Pirates and Princesses party because I am basically a giant 4 year old. haha. So heres my question, do adults dress up too? I really want to, but I don't want to look like a freak!

I'd suggest "thinking outside the box". Create a "princess" outfit by wearing a sparkley top, a filmy skirt, some sparkley sandels, and a crown/tiarra. Your "pirate" can wear ragged black cut-offs, a striped shirt, eye-patch, and sew small plush parrot to his shoulder. I always go comfort over costume no matter what. Of course if you want the full "look", check a goodwill type shop near you. Unless you know someone from whom you can borrow costumes, it's probably going to cost you....and do you want to give up suitcase space for an uncomfortable costume that you only need for several hours?
I agree with Mini-V, don't spend a bundle on a costume that you are going to sweat to death in at the parks because you want to go to the attractions and ride the rides.Quote:

We dress up for Mickey's not so scary halloween party as well! The more simple the costume, the better!
Unfortunately they have changed the dates and it won't be going on during my May visit. Just to ket you know I have attended the Mickey's Not So Scarry party the last four years. Last year my mom and I dressed up and we had a ball, so you should definitely do it!
