I don't know the name of the shop, but it's right at the beginning to Main St USA. As you walk under the railroad station, stay to your right. Go past the Exposition Hall (ie, photo center) and Tony's Town Square restaurant. The hat shop is right on the corner where Town Square ends and Main St proper begins.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I swear I saw an embroidery machine in Sir Mickey's shop as well which is behind the castle.
I'm about as All-American as they come!

They used to have them in both locations as well as the Judge's Tent in ToonTown.
I'm not sure if they still do the embroidery in all of those locations.

Did you know that they now charge for the embroidery on the MM Ears? They didn't as recently as three years ago. We didn't find this out until last December when DD went to purchase a new pair.

How much is the embroidery charge? I'd love to get ears with our names on them as special keepsake for our first trip with the kids.

How much are the ears with no embroidery?

I think it'll depend on whether you go with the "standard ears" or the newly customizable (spelling?) ears. Either way, I don't know the price off the top of my head. Sorry!

You can call Disney direct and ask them, they are happy to help.

The embroidery charge is $3 now.

The Chapeau (Main St. USA), Sir Mickey's (Fantasyland) and the Judge's Tent all have the embroidery. Ears vary in price by size/style, but range roughly from $9.95 - $14.95, to even more for the make-your-own with a lot of embellishments.

here's a picture of the ears with the new machine embroidery on them. It is thinner than the old hand-done kind, which is no longer available at all.

And here is a pair of custom ears my DD made, that with the embroidery I believe ran her over $20.

I was there last week and I am not sure of the cost but they also had patches that you could use to spell your name on the Custom hats.
I have to say I love the new "standard" Mouse Ears that now have an actual patch on them instead of the old sticker patch on the front. The new ears look very vintage!
