I suggest you check out Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Vacation Information Guide - WDW Planning Guide - Walt Disney World . They have information concerning last year's MVMCP and might give you an idea. I hope you have a fabulous time!
Hi there!
I'm going to MVMCP on December the 9th which is a wednesday, and I'd like to know some things please
-Are Wednesdays usually very crowded to go to the party?
-I heard something about a free family photo, is this true?
-Where are the locations for the Event Pins and T-Shirts, and how early should I be there to get them?
-The Lights of Winter, When do they turn on/are they part of the celebrate the season stage show?
-Are there any specific places to find Mickey and Minnie, or Donald, or Goofy?
-Are there any special decorations that they set up just for the party, not for the day time?
-What's your favorite thing to do there besides all the shows, parades and fireworks?
Thanks for the Help!!!!!! I really appriciate it!

The Golden age never was the present age… but with human liberty we can fulfill the promise and meaning of America. To everyone a chance. To all people, regardless of their birth the right to live, to work, to be themselves, and to become whatever their visions can combine to make them. This is the promise of America...And I foresee the American adventure to continue for a long, long time!

It shouldn't be too bad, though that may be overlapping with the Pop Warner football time.
Sadly, this was discontinued a couple of years ago, in favor of discounts on Photopass pictures taken that evening.
Pins are usually in the Exposition Hall on Main Street, and the shirts are in the Emporium. I've gotten shirts on my way out at the end of the party with no trouble. Pins are a bit more limited in edition, so you might want to get those when you arrive.
You mean the Castle Dream lights, right? or The Lights of Winter at Epcot?
The Castle lights had a little show featuring the Fairy Godmother to light them around dusk each night. That's actually before the MVMCP starts if I remember correctly.
The Lights of Winter at Epcot is the series of arches that are synchronized to music along the bridge between Future World and World Showcase. They are lit nightly at 6 p.m. with the Epcot Christmas tree.
I'll have to dig out last year's map to be sure, but I believe Mickey & Minnie had a photo area on Main Street in Town Square. Santa Claus was on Center Street, and I don't remember anyplace special for Donald & Goofy, though Goofy is often found in Town Square, and Mickey can usually be found at his house in ToonTown during the day.
Not so many unique decorations anymore, but you do get snow on Main Street and some fun lighting effects on the buildings.
Just enjoying the atmosphere with friends!

Our favorite thing to do: My family gets a big kick out of getting free cookies and hot cocoa. Distribution areas are set up around MK. Last year we had cocoa in Frontierland and Bullseye happened into the restaurant while the parade was going on. I did a little dance with Bullseye and several members of our group had their picture taken with him. No one but us knew he was there, so we didn't have to wait in a line.

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
They also sell the pins at the Pin Trading store in Frontierland. They also sell the tee shirts and sweetshirts at the Christmas Store in Liberty Square.

December 9th is a tuesday......just don't want you to show up on the wrong day
I didn't want to start a whole new topic for this question, but I thought you guys would know what time we can enter the park with our MVMCP tickets. I don't think we are going to spend the day in MK, but we have ADRs at the Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:20. Will we be able to enter using our MVMCP tickets around 4:30-5:00 or will we have to use our regular tickets, leave, and enter again closer to 7:00 with our MVMCP tickets?
You don't have to leave the park to go to the MVMCP - they start walking around at approx 5:00pm and if you have a ticket for the party they will put a wristband on your wrist so when the park closes for they can tell who has tickets for the MVMCP.
I'm not entirely sure of the time but think you can start getting in on MVMCP ticket at around 4pm

Heyi have another question. The Candlelight Processional in Epcot, are you allowed to record it on video? and also: How long does the show run from start to finish?
Thanks!
