    Is Barack Obama going to be added to Hall of Presidents?

    Is there any requirements or anything before a president can be added to the HoP?

    He was elected President so he will be added. The only requirement to being added is being elected.

    HoP is currently going under a major renevation. It is set to reopen by July 4. (At least that's the current plan).

    I'm looking forward to the Hall of Presidents at our next visit. My daughters have really good history programs at their school and are really interested in this kind of thing. It's light enough to keep their interest and educational enough they may learn something.

    I'm sure the "Obama bot" himself will be ready by May 1st. But they're doing interior renovations and technologic updates to the show (so I've read) and that's the reason for the later July 4th opening.

    I was actually looking forward to going to see HOP, I havent been in since they added GWB.

    Now that Mr. Obama will be in the Hall of Presidents, I think I would very much enjoy seeing that show again. I thought it was boring when I was younger, but now that I'm older and care about politics, I really want to see it, especially since Barack Obama will be part of it.
