Very Merry Christmas Party Ticket Availability

I noticed tickets for MVMCP '09 went on sale May 1st with a note that some dates were unavailable, December 4th in particular which is when we planned on going. Does anyone know why these dates aren't available for purchase yet, and if they will become available at a later date. Thanks for the help!

I know a couple last year were blocked for private parties. Wonder how much of that will happen with this years economy?

There could be a couple of reasons why they aren't up yet -- the best being a private event. But that doesn't mean that those dates could not open up at any time. Jsut keep checking!!

BUT..... If December 4 was for a private party, the date would NOT have been published.

I just checked the Disney site as well as Allearsnet, tickets are available for December 4, just not at an advance purchase discount. (because it is a Friday)

Maybe you just misunderstood what you read?

Thanks for reminding I needed to buy our tickets... for December 4!

Called today, paid for, done, yes, they are available for Dec. 4.

Cost $4 for them to mail them to us. The CM told me "will call" is only available for purchases made less than 30 days before the party.

I noticed allears now says they just aren't available for advance purchase pricing specifically, I don't believe it did before. I guess I misunderstood what they wrote. We will be there either that night or the 6th, once the park hours come out I can start planning like a maniac!

I would suggest going on Sunday December 6, it should be less crowded.

We thought about that. But then again... with no discounts of any kind available on the 4th, could it end up being LESS crowded? Hmm?

Nah, you're probably right. But we get in on Thursday, and we're staying at Shades of Green, and I just can't stand the thought of a party going on so close by on our first full day in the World and we're not in it!
