HEY LOU or anyone been there. RE:Crowds this summer

I'm thinking about sneaking off to WDW for a day ot two before our Oct vacation by myself. I'm curious to know if the crowds are say about the same as Spring Break because of the economy or full blown gridlock as before??

The crowds are the same. The economy's not hurting Disney World, that's for sure! The parks are very crowded, but not as bad as they are around Christmas!

I feel that Spring Break crowds are a little worse then summer crowds, especially so far this year (during Spring Break this year, 1+ of the parks were closed to capacity a few of the days. The only time that happens during the summer is on the 4th of July). However, that's not to say summer crowds are a walk in the park (they aren't- they can be busy at times too). Just not as crazy as Spring Break was this year.
