Which tour is best to do?

    Hi,
My husband and I are heading to wdw in sept and are considering doing the 7 hr backstage tour starting at epcott? Is this a good one to do or is there something you think would be even more magical. Any hints would be much appreciated. We are staying at Pop Century and are also going to Mickeys not so scarey halloween party. We are coming from Australia but love all things disney especially Mickey Mouse.
Thanks for your help. Keep a dream in your pocket.

I have done the 7 hr Backstage Magic Tour and it is a really great Tour.
Because you get to see Backstage in 3 Parks it is well worth it.

I have also done the Keys to Kingdom Tour which is also a really great Tour. So it really depends on whether you want to spend 7 hours on a tour or if you would like a shorter tour. The Keys to the Kingdom tour is only of Magic Kingdom.

Both Tours when it comes to the Magic Kingdom do cover a few different things.

I know this probably hasn't helped much because they are both GREAT Tours. It is a personal decision. Lunch is included with both. The 7 hour BM tour is at a restaurant and the Keys to the Kingdom Tour is at a Quick Service Restaurant, but they do block off an area.

Good luck - it's a touch decision to make.

We too are heading down for our first "adults only" trip ever (sans 3 kiddos) and are considering which tour to do, since we will only have 3 days for all of the parks we aren't sure how much time we will want to devote to it.

Thanks OP & please keep the feedback coming guys.

Missin'Disney - You might consider the Magic Behind the Steam Trains tour . . . if you are early risers, that is. Since it starts before park opening (7:30am), you wouldn't miss as much park time as some of the others.
Have you seen my dad? Would you page him for me?

Thanks for the suggestion T Morrows Child. I do like the idea of getting a head start and not missing park touring time. Although I don't know if the train tour would interest me as much as DH.

Yes, you have a good point. Although it spends a lot of time talking about Walt's love of trains, it may not be for everyone.

Another one of our favorites has been the Segway Tour of the World Showcase. If you :get the early group, you also don't miss too much park time. There is a 7:45 tour that ends at around 9:45. You'd get a few tidbits of info, but the best part is that you get to tour through the World Showcase without any other guests around! This is one that the wife and I will do again and again.

The segway tour definitely interests us, but I had heard that they were discontinuing that due to a guest having a "run-in" with the England Pavillion.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

There's usually a Keys to the Kingdom tour that starts a half-hour before the park opens. You have to get there about an hour before opening for early admission. (They use a list of tour members to verify.)
