Hi me again. 16 days till we leave on our trip, we are excited :yahoo: and are starting to obsess over little things.
My wife is wondering exactly what we can get in our refillable mug, including flavours of pop (soda).
My daughter is wondering if there are icees, slushies, whatever you want to call them.
I am wondering why I am asking. LOL just kidding honey. :-D
There are slushies at Pop Century, but thats the only place I know of. There are a variety of things you can get at each resort including a large assortment of sodas, tea, and coffee.

From all have seen Pop is the only one with ICEE, (however I have never stayed at any deluxe other than Wilderness Lodge) you can get soda,tea,coffee, hot chocolate and most place have Powerade. Basically if it's at the beverage island you can use your mug.
Tell your daughter is was a blue slushies. It was great. But you see I am from Texas and Disneyworld does not carry Dr Pepper anywhere only coke products. But you can get any bevage like tea, coffee, orange juice an hot coca and cokes in your mug all the time you are there at the resorts. Also, tell your wife that if she needs to wash clothes take lots of quarters. The Washer and dryer use if I remmber it was about $2.00 per load. Tell your wife the best time to wash clothes in early in the morning. It is very quite then. Also the food at the Pop Century was good.

Sadly, you cannot fill your mug with beer unless you brought it yourself or pay exorbitant gift shop prices.
Remember the Horizons slogan? If we could dream it we can do it.
I've dreamed of free beer at Disney since i learned Busch Gardens gave it away.
Yet, lo these many years my dream hasn't come to fruition.

Unless they have added them back in since the beginning of May, the ICEE machines are no longer at Pop Century. However, they weren't really that great anyway. The machines couldn't keep up with the demand of the amount of people using them and it usually just came out as cold, sugary water.
If I remember correctly, they have soda, coffee, and tea (both hot and cold).
One of my favorite things to do at The Pop is to walk past the giant Big Wheel first thing in the morning, with mug in hand, on my way to the food court to get my first cup of coffee!!
