| Re: Sweet tea Being a Southerner myself (but an unsweet tea drinker, because it's healthier), the only way that Disney could possibly sell sweet tea would be to sell the Nestee version found at soda fountains. And if you are a true sweet tea drinker - well, that just isn't real sweet tea! Sweet tea must be brewed fresh with the sugar added while the tea is still hot. At one point, sweet tea was sold in the parks at the counters that had McDonald's offerings. But now that they are gone, so is the sweet tea!

| Re: Sweet tea Im always confused by the tea in the southern US. Here in ontario when you ask for tea you get hot teabag tea.... and I got so used to asking for "hot tea" on my last trip (so that I wouldnt get unsweetened cold tea) that for months after I got back I kept asking for "hot tea" at all the local coffee places and getting some REALLY weird stares lol. Thats one thing about trips to disney, I sure do miss my Tim Hortans steeped tea.

| Re: Sweet tea I truly believe that there is a special place in H_LL reserved for the person who came up with the idea of fountain tea. That stuff is horrendous.... I used to only like sweet tea on vacation. Now that McDonald's has it, I get it all the time. |

| Re: Sweet tea Best bet is to take some gallons of swee' tea from Smithfields Chicken and Barbeque with you. Smithfields is a uniquely eastern Carolina chain, so you might have to make do with your local Georgia restaurant. |

| Re: Sweet tea We were pleasantly surprised this past January to find sweet tea at The Garden Grill restaurant in EPCOT. This is the only place in WDW that I know of that has real sweet tea. This alone makes The Garden Grill worth a visit. And yes sweet tea is the only way to drink tea. It's bitter and nasty without it. I have learned to drink it with Splenda, to keep off the weight I have lost, but its not the same as sugar. ![]() |
