I am pretty sure the boats are not running because they have to do the Burnout of the ball and move all the barges off of the Lagoon. I could be completely wrong, but I am thinking that the boats are not running
Hi!
We are leaving really soon!!! Yeah!!!
We have a family of six and are staying at the Polynesian!
First time there. We are have the free dining and to keep
more of cost down we only are getting 2 day tickets. We
are going to Epcot both days. The last time my husband and
I went we were teenagers in the 80's.
My kids have never gone. Anyways to the question I cannot
get an answer.
We are having dinner at Biergarten one night and the other night
at Teppan Edo. We will probably hang out on that side of the
World Showcase for Illuminations. After the show will the boats
inside the park be running to the other side of the Showcase.
I know the kids will be tired and it would be great to get off
the feet alittle bit.
Thanks!!
From the suburbs of Cleveland!

The boats will not be running, but the walk is not that bad. Wait a few minutes after Illuminations ends to allow the crowd to beign to dissipate, then take a nice stroll on out. A good place to watch Illuminations after dinner at the Biergarten is to your right as you leave Germany in the area between Germany and the Outpost. This area normally does nto fill up early and provides a great view.
Thank You!!
We are sooo excited!!!![]()
I believe that the boats usually stop at 7PM, so take that into your planning as well. I concur that the walk isn't as far as it seems, and the worst part at that time of night will be the crowds. If you give a little time for the crowds to dissipate, it should be quite a pleasant walk back. Both pavilions are pretty close to the back of the park too, so it shouldn't take too long for the crowds to thin out.
Are you not going to the Magic Kingdom at all? Because you are staying in a monorail resort and have direct access to the Magic Kingdom. The Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Club are all Epcot resorts where you can walk directlly to Epcot through the International Gateway. Just wasn't sure if you were aware of that.![]()
