Best Disney iPhone apps?
I just got an iPhone and I was wondering what the best Waly Disney Apps are? And why? Free or not. There are so many out there, and I don't want to waste my money.

Re: Best Disney iPhone apps?
I have several Disney apps on my ipod touch. One of my favorites is Toy Sory Mania. It is $5 but I enjoy the games and so do both of my boys. I also like the WDW Dining app. We used it a couple of times our last trip to check the menus of places where we thought we might want to eat. I think it is a pretty good deal for $2. I also have WDW Guide and WDW Secrets by Notescast. They are okay but if you are a hard core Disney fan you may already know the info in them. I bought them so I could get a Disney fix anytime, anywhere. If you like MouseWorld Radio they have a free app. I am listening to the music from Illuminations right now.
Hope this helps.

Re: Best Disney iPhone apps?
I like 'WDW Park Hours' and the DVC points aps. Both are cheap - only 99 cents. I've found that the aps that claim to show wait times don't work. I'd rather not have an ap at all if the info is bad. I wonder how long it will be before Disney releases an ap for the parks.

Carina,
Mouse Memo is pretty good - it lets you track ADRs, entertainment reservations (golf tee times, tours, etc), hotels, flights, and rental car info. It's specifically written for WDW, so all the restaurants and hotels on property are already included. It's .99 as well.
There are four Park Map applications that I used last time we were down. It was nice not having to fold and unfold the guide maps all the time.
Hope this helps and have fun on your trip!

Just type Disney in to the app search, you'll find loads.
It's just enough to keep us going when we're on the wrong side of the pond.

Re: Best Disney iPhone apps?
I found maps for all the parks, Mouse world radio, park times and some trivia things.

Has anyone tried Steve Barret's Hidden Mickey App? It looks like it would be quite useful to take into the parks, instead of a book.

I have purchased it but not used it in the parks yet. It doesn't include resort hidden mickeys, only the 4 main theme parks. It is a very 'pretty' app. You earn points for locating the HMs (unless you use the hint) and it lets you set up multiple profiles so you can keep track of multiple scores. The HMs are sorted by land and then ride/location, which seems easy to use.
I'm really excited about using it and will be leaving my book at home. I think the best part about it is its potential to be updated.

Re: Best Disney iPhone apps?
I highly recommend the Walt Disney World Resort Times Guide app. I've attached a photo of the icon and a screenshot from my phone. This helps you save grabbing a times guide. I'm not sure if it works with the special events, but the times I've needed to know park closing/opening times it was on the dot accurate

There are also a lot of Apps that have all 4 maps of the WDW parks!

Re: Best Disney iPhone apps?
I am planning my trip for November and hoping to find some useful apps to use while at Disney. I would like to find a waiting time app and possible a countdown ticker app like I have on my desktop so I can get ready. Anyone have any good apps to share? Thanks
