| Hello, Do any of you Disney experts know what happened to all of the houses and sets that were on the Backlot tour, also what year they were taken out? I went in 1998 when I was 6 and they were there and I loved it, but in 2007, there were none on the tour, it was rubbish! Also, does anyone know what houses and sets were on the tour? Thankyou in advance! ![]()

| A-Ticket holder | Re: The Backlot Tour I remember the houses, the one that they always talked about was from "The Golden Girls". There was also a walk through warehouse where you could see props from a lot of movies. And there was a interactive where kids could be chosen to "ride" a bumble bee as in Honey I Shrink The Kids. And Finally there was an interactive with Bette Midler from one of her Disney Movies. I think they may still so the Boat in the Storm interactive, but I haven't been in a couple of years. I also remember going by the buildings where costumes were made. Residential Street was also really nice when the Osborne Family Lights were there. |

| Re: The Backlot Tour They were removed around 2001 to make room for the construction if the Lights Motors Action amphitheater. The backlot tour is a fraction of its old self. It really should be renamed especially since DHS hasn't been an operating studio in many years.

| Re: The Backlot Tour I heard the "Backlot Express Tour" on WDW Today as a new title. Also, I seem to recall the film with Bette Midler was "The Lottery". I remember it being quite funny. |
