Fantasmic Characters meet?

Hey all,

Heading to the World in 42 Days!

Got a question. I was talking with my dad and from what he says, everyday from 4:00-6:30 PM at DHS in Animation Courtyard, you can meet characters from that evenings show of Fantasmic. He said that some of the characters are ones that are now considered "rare" to meet.

I already know you can meet the Incredibles, UP characters, Bolt Characters, and of course sorcerer Mickey in the Animation Courtyard, but does anyone know if this is true or not about meeting these "rare" characters?

I'm not sure, but I have herd that if Fantasmic iscancelled due to weather, then you can sometimes meet the characters.

I'll be at WDW one week from today and hopefully seeing Fantasmic that Wednesday evening. I'll ask when we get to the park and post the answer.

I've never heard about this meet and greet. But there are rare characters that appear in the parks. There was a website one time that posted pics of all the characters that appear in the parks and how rare they are. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for that link. I have a similar page bookmarked that I'll have to search for and post here. I remember that they had a photo of the Hag that was a different costume than the one I met.

It is true. On certain days (not sure if this happens every day), you will find random characters inside the Animation Building. They range from common characters (like Goofy) to uncommon characters (like Friar Tuck, Max, Snow Queen, ect). I believe they first come out around 4:40 or so.
