Re: Restaurant ideas?

I'm not sure if they are on the dining plan, but Paradiso 37 was very good when we were there last Sept.

I also would recommend Restaurant Marrakesh @ Epcot. We've been there a few times. Last fall DH had salmon & I had lamb. It was so fantastic - melt in your mouth good. And don't miss the Marrakesh Delight for dessert.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is the best meal I've had on property plus the service is fantastic. If you are looking for a more relaxed meal, the Plaza at the MK is great. Whispering Canyon is really good(get the skillet). Big River Grille has great pasta and salad...plus the beer sampler.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

We are fairly well-fed and love planning Disney meals.

Our trips are not complete without visits to Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.

Both can serve as a quick getaway from Epcot or Magic Kingdom, respectively.

Another plus is the characters. Chef Mickey's has the big 5 --a treat for young and old. Cape May has characters only for breakfast.

I can also heartily endorse the bang-for-the-buck votes for the very tasty and very noisy Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.

Bon Appetit!

Boma at the AKL has a great buffet. We've been there several times and have always enjoyed it. Have a great trip!

Re: Restaurant ideas?

Yak and Yeti is superb, I've eaten there several times and have never had a bad meal. As for getting the most bang for your buck, Ohana's is absolutely delicious and all you can eat (no brainer!) plus, its got a fantastci atmosphere and is easy to get to from MK (I recommened boating it across - super fun!). The Coral Reef is also great, when I was there last, myself and my best friend used dining plan credits, and the "bill" came to $85 dollars, with just to entres and desserts. So definitely worth using a Dining Plan there!!

Re: Restaurant ideas?

I recommend The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show or The Hoop Dee Doo Revue. If you are looking for "bang for your buck" these shows are for you! You get a hearty meal and fantastic live entertainment all in one memorable evening. And if you do The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, book the early performance. That way you can stick around and watch the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes from the beaches of The Polynesian!!
