Exclamation Restaurant ideas?

So i will be venturing back into WDW FL in August.
And we have two slots left to fill when we actually make our reservations for dinner. We're on the meal plan and these are the places were going so far:
Wolfgang Pucks
Crystal Palace
Teppan Edo
Kona Cafe
Le Chef De France
As you can probably tell we like to get a bang for our buck.
And id really appreciate any sugggestion, thanks a lot !

Re: Restaurant ideas?

If you haven't tried Yak & Yeti at Animal Kingdom I would highly recommend it!

What about 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Best buffet on property IMHO.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

Do you know where you are going to be on the night you don't have a reservation yet? Is it a park day or a rest day? That may help guide you to the direction you want to look in Have you tried Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge? Are you staying on property?

We haven't really planned where were gonna be. We work around the food schedule, so it could be a park or rest day. it doesn't really matter if it's a park of hotel restaurant, as long as it's good. And yes we are staying on property. Were staying at the pop century.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

I would recomment Kouzzina and Tutto Italia. Both had excellent food that was also very pricey, so you'll be saving a lot of money by being on the meal plan.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

I would also recommend Whispering Canyon at the Fort Wilderness Lodge. The steaks are delicious and the portions are huge. I would also recommend Sanaa at The Animal Kingdom Lodge. Great food and u get to look out onto the savanna.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

Want bang for your buck? The Beach Club's Cape May is the place to go. It's all-you-can eat seafood buffet and this past summer they added crab legs along with mussels, clams, shrimp and more. It's well worth it. Plus, after you have stuffed yourself you can walk it off by taking the short walk to World Showcase for IllumiNations.

Re: Restaurant ideas?

I agree with disneydreamer about Yak and Yeti! I had a steak and shrimp plate over jasmine rice that was AMAZING! If you're going to be in Animal Kingdom..or wanted to have an AK night definitely check out that restaurant!

Re: Restaurant ideas?

Ohana at the Poly and Trails End Buffet at The Fort Wilderness Campground are two All you Care to Enjoy places that get my vote. Trails End is off the beaten path but it's good stuff. There's something for everyone at Pepper Market at Cornado Springs as well. 50's Prime Time at DHS is a fantastic family meal too.

I know I recomended the Whispering Cayon to the OP but I have never actually tried it. I probably shouldn't be recomending restaurants I haven't tried but I have always heard positive things about it and hopefully will be trying it on our next stay. I also think you get quite a bit for the money. There is a picture on the food thread from Whispering Cayon Cafe on page 20, post 293...... Post a Disney Dining Food Picture A Day

Re: Restaurant ideas?

Yak and Yeti! We have ate at many of the nicest places in WDW but this one impressed us the most based on taste. Everything we ate there over 2 years has been amazing! Yummy!

Re: Restaurant ideas?

You're on the DP and you want to get your bucks worth then I'd suggest Le Cellier, Kouzzina, Whispering Canyon, The Wave and Grand Floridian Cafe. All are really good and 1T but tough to get ressies.
