small world loading dock

Does anyone know what the numbers represent near the loading dock for "it's a small world?" Those same numbers are also present on the facade of the Disneyland version. I know that such numbers are often tied to important dates, Imagineers' birthdays, etc. What's the case here? Thanks!

That sounds like a great "Ask Dave" question!

I believe this will be the topic of Dan Brown's new book The Disney Code.
Robert Langdon continues his search for the truth by tackling the mysteries found in "The happiest Place on Earth". What do the giant, glitter-encrusted numbers mean? Is Walt really frozen beneath the Hall of Presidents? What secret ingredient makes a Dole Whip so addicting? These and other ancient Disney riddles will be exposed in this thrilling new book!

Re: small world loading dock

That whole structure is supposed to be a clock, isn't it? I always thought they were numbers from the face of a clock. I don't know why they're there other than that, and I never really put much more thought into it. Great question!

Looks like it's just the digits 0 through 9 all jumbled. Each digit appears once and only once. Maybe there's some significance to how they are laid out though.

That would be awesome! The imagineers could have put those #s in that specific order for a reason though.
