Right, it's not wireless. What I suggest you do is either bring with you (or run to Walmart and purchase down there) a 20-50ft internet cable. This way, you can plug your computer in and take it to whichever room you'd like... the dining area, the bedroom, the balcony, etc. I purchased my cable down there a few years ago and bring it with me on every trip. Works perfectly over the short cable they give you. But still, free is free.
The convention-oriented resorts may have wi-fi in their lobbies, but it is usually pay-for - $10 for 24 hours. However, there have been various reports (confirmed by a CM) that at least at Beach Club the lobby wi-fi was free - at least for a time.
