Question.. just a thought i have had

and i have emailed disney waitin a reply.. but do you guys think..?

you know i have the idea for me to do the big dress and the hubby a tux kind of dracula bride and groom thing..

well our royal table sitting is at 4pm.

will they let us go ahead in the park dressed up then? and will they let us go to the royal table dressed up? kind of defeats the purpose if they wont let us..

but maybe i can do the one at park instead since it isnt in a park

I don't believe there is a dress code for lunch. Heaven knows kids go dressed up in their princess dresses.

I'm confused. Wasn't this your original question:

If so, I just thought they should be able to let you in, considering there is no dress code to attend the lunch. So if you're already dressed for Halloween, and it's just a tux and fancy dress, I don't think they're going to give you a hard time.

i thought during normal park hours adults cant dress up.. i thought that i read somewhere that during MNSSHP is the only time adults can dress up.. and our 4pm dinner is a lil while before the party starts

I read somewhere that someone tried to get into epcot or something dressed as Snow White cos they were going to MNSSHP and they were made change before they were allowed into the park... I think the only park adults are allowed into dressed up is Magic Kingdom and I think they're only allowed dress up for MNSSHP.. I could be wrong

see the reason i asked is because i think i remember hearing something like that. thats why i was wondering if they will let us in at 4 to the magic kingdom in costume

I was under the impression that you couldn't try to dress like one of the characters and look convincing, meaning if your dressed like Cinderella and you LOOK like she's dressed in MK there might be a problem. I'm sure if it's obvious you're in costume there probably won't be a problem. Plus I think they start letting people in for MNSSHP around 4 anyways so other people will be dressed up. I don't think you're going to have a problem really, but I could be wrong...it's happened before

I'd say you'll be fine on the day of MNSSHP though cos it says they let people in from 4 so the hardly expect people to bring costume with them and change in park if they've a Halloween ticket.. I plan to go in at 4 dressed as Snow white

awesome.. im so totally excited.. i cant wait to go pick out my dress.. im waitin for my mom to leave because she dont get around very well so i cant drag her around looking at a different places and i would feel guilty going and leavin her home.. so im spending my time with her because she is flying monday morning

Dear Crystal,

Attire that is not appropriate for the Theme Parks (and which may result
in refusal of admittance) includes but is not limited to:

• Adult costumes or clothing that can be viewed as representative of
an actual Disney character.
• Masks (unless you are dressing up for a particular event)
• Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or
graphics.
• Excessively torn clothing.
• Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin
that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment
• Objectionable tattoos

A Guest is allowed into the Parks if her or his hair (or make-up, if
applicable) has been made to resemble a Disney Princess or character
(for example, after a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover) provided the
Guest is not also wearing a costume or clothed to look like the
character.

We encourage our Guests, especially children, to wear costumes to
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. As you select your costume for
this event, please keep the following guidelines in mind.

Costumes must not:

Cover the face or obstruct your vision

Hinder your ability to board our attractions or

so i guess.. i will be looking for a shorter dress.. or will be getting 2 dresses.. one to wear and then one to change into if i wanna ride rides..lol

all of that seems perfectly reasonable i would say... i would expect most of them... especially the dressing like a Disney character... they dont want to get a bad name from someone who doesnt even work for them... the others are like going anywhere not a club or bar on halloween...
