Need help with lost prize from Radio Disney

I hope I am in the right spot

On April 27th around 9am, my son called into Radio Disney on the "Wake with Blake" show. The correct caller got $10 times their age (he is 10). My son has a bit of a speech impediment and he was on a cell phone. They thought his name was Miley when it really is RILEY. He gave me the phone to give them our address and to give birthdate information and so forth.

We have not received the prize. And to make things more difficult we have since moved. Our mail is forwarded to our new home, but we still have not received anything.

I went to the Radio Disney site and emailed them the above statements and got a response. In the responding email the help desk asked some questions (ones I had answered in the email, but I typed it out easier for them to glance and read) and they said they would look into it. That was on 6/2. I have since responded again to that email, and re-sent another through the radio disney site.

I am at a loss as to what to do. I have spent days searching for numbers only to call and not have it be the number I need. Every day my son checks the mail and is getting disappointed every time.

I think you are in the wrong spot, this is not Radio Disney, this is WDW Radio, which is a podcast/forums. Google Radio Disney and call them directly. Can you call the number you called into originally? Good luck, I hope your son gets his prize.

Thanks... I have tried that I was hoping that someone from somewhere could give me a direct line to it. *sigh* I know it's a far reach but I'm out of other ideas.

I know the main office is in Texas. I don't know if this is the correct person that you'd need to speak to, but he (or his secretary) might be a good starting point. His was the only name I could find anywhere on the site. Good luck!

SOLVED

I sent yet another email (this time posting to please just call my cell number immediately). Also TWITTERED LOL

I talked to a real live person. And after a discussion about what happened, they overnighted a package.

Not only did they give him the $100 gift card, but he also received some other nice Radio Disney promo stuff (pencils, stickers, shirt).

I am so happy this has been resolved and my son is thrilled.


OH on another note, she noted that I complained that there was no way to get intouch with the radio station and is looking into having that put on the website in the near future
