D23 Expo Tickets
Yes, Yay! Just bought 3! I would like the Premier and I would if I was going alone. Maybe next time.
Have a nice day!
Just got 2!! I can't believe the Sorcerer Premiere is sold out already!! $1000!!!! :faint:
My oldest DD and I would love to go. Trying to price things out, but not sure where to stay or what airport to fly into. (we would fly out of Buffalo.) Anyone have any info that went last year? Is Disneyland too far away to stay? Are there hotels nearby? We would have to cab it because I probably won't bother getting a car.
but not sure... what airport to fly into.
There are 3 airports I would recommend. LAX, as it is the main airport in the area. Orange County as it is closer to the Parks then the others, however, it may cost more. And third is my prefered airport, Long Beach. But Long Beach is a very small airport and you would have to be using it via a connection trough a different airport.

The best part about the Expo is the convention center is a block down from both parks. Across the street from the CC, is one of Disney's parking lots and there is a tram that will take you over to the Park entrances.
but not sure where to stay...
There are a lot of hotels in the area, I would recommend doing a google search for disneyland hotels and disneyland area hotels. There are at least a dozen within walking distance, ie 10 - 15 minutes from being in the Parks, to others that run their own shuttles.
...I probably won't bother getting a car.
You can get by with no problems without getting a rental car. Super Shuttle runs from each of the airports and will drop you off at your hotel, and pick you up to take you back. Unless you want to see other parts of L.A., you will be fine without a car.
