Princess half marathon also for guys??

My daughter is an instructor at our gym and a few of the other instructors are planning to enter the Princess race. As dear yours truly Dad (ME!)usually foots the bill on all our vacations when we sneak off...I and my workout partner want to go make the run also if possible. According to Disney website they give same anemities but start off in a later corral. Question is will we be the only men running is it that much a minority?? I've heard some men racers even dress up in drag and run!!! I'm not above being made fun so everyone else can have a good time.. Has anybody ran this???

If Scopa shows up I know I'm gonna run it!!!

I say go for it! Decide what you'll dress as later.

By the way....is there an end to Your Mat saga of last summer. Did they figure out which project got axed?

Don't know,,really haven't thought about it since. Work has tremendously picked up and I'm glad so we would not have to honor the contract. It was too cheap for rates now.

GO FOR IT!!! I'm not sure but I thought someone told me if you are running with a female you can be in the same corral as her but if you sign up individually you will be at the back.
I was going to do the Princess next year but once they changed the date I can't now since it's the day the cruise leaves. But I'll be doing the 5k at least on Saturday.

Do it! I'm sure I've heard of guys running the Princess Race before - just don that tiara and run like Prince Charming's life depended on it!

Tmntrans, I'm pretty sure Scopa and I are running this in 2011 - come on along. Just make sure you book at a hotel which has bus transportation from the resort, because not all do.

I ran part of the 2010 race with Lou's wife, Deanna, and our mutual friend Mary Jo. Deanna set a PR, I believe.

Hey Len,
Are you and Scopa and the gang going out afterward to EAT??? Can I come if you're paying??(Insert Scopa here!!) ROFL
I would love to run awhile with ya'll guys just to listen to the banter..bet would be funny.Probably couldn't keep up though.
Question though....usually I stay at Deluxe DVC resort (rent points). Do the bus transportation work at all Disney resorts on property?? Is the best bet then to try get in Scopa Towers or say Port Orleans?? What about car?
