    Food and Wine Guidance

I will be going to Food and Wine for the first time. I am more interested in the food portion than the wine. I will be at WDW from Oct 11 - 17. This is a solo trip, so are there any suggestions on how to approach this? Any would be greatly appreciated.

Since it looks like you have plenty of time there I would suggest doing half of it one day and the other half another day. While the portions aren't huge they still can fill you up.
My favorite items are the fisherman's pie and lava cake at Ireland.

    Have fun!!

I agree if you have the time break it up into 2 days, if not just take it slow and skip the stuff that doesn't appeal to you. We don't eat a sit down dinner when we go to Food and Wine because those small sample portions at the different countries can really fill you up. Also get the pre paid card, it's so much easier, it works like a debit card and when you get either food or drink they just scan it. But don't get to much on the card (maybe $50.00) because money leftover on the card cannot be cashed in for cash, you can use it at the gift shops though. You can always add to the card at the various kiosks.
BTW, if you do decide to take 2 days you can start on the Mexico side and when you get to Germany you can take the Friendship boat back to Future World or you can start on the Canada side and take the Friendship boat back from Morocco. Then finish from where you left off the next day

The only other thing I would suggest is to try to avoid Epcot (Food and Wine in particular) during the weekends because many of the locals turn out for the event and it will be much more crowded.
