Has anyone ever pre-shipped.......
So has anyone ever pre-shipped a box down to the resort with supplies in it before you arrive?
UPS told me it will take 3 business days to get to Port Orleans, not a huge box but just some; like a change of clothes for each of us, maybe some boxes of Granola Bars, Drink Mix Singles, stuff we can get up here at the $1.00 store cheaper then the resort LOL
Then I figured I could ship back before we leave her souvenirs which she's already planning on (my 4 yr old princess)

Re: Has anyone ever pre-shipped.......
We ship our trading pins back and forth to ourselves all the time. It usually takes about 3 days to reach the resort from our home in VA.
Make sure you put the complete resort address on the package, along with your name and check-in date. When you check-in at your resort, just tell someone at bell services that you are expecting a package.
It's probably a good idea to put your name and address inside the package, as well.
Good luck!

Re: Has anyone ever pre-shipped.......
wow you must have a lot of pins if your shipping them down in a BOX ahead of time. I would think pins are smaller enough to fit in any size luggage. Guess I never got into the pin thing, having only a handful.

Re: Has anyone ever pre-shipped.......
We do it all the time. UPS is the best way to go so you can track it. I always allow an extra day to get through Disney processing. And it is a bonus to have a box to use to ship stuff back home. Like dirty clothes or those souvenirs you weren't counting on buying.

We also do it all the time. Mostly snacks and stuff for the room. Depending on what we're doing dining wise, I also send breakfast items. Make sure you put your name, resort name, confirmation number and arrival date on box. If I remember, the last time we stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort they charged me a handling fee to store the box until I got there. Think it was $4 or $5. They told me it's an outside company taking care of packages.

Re: Has anyone ever pre-shipped.......
A BOX, who said anything about a box?
It's usually two boxes, around 30 to 40 pounds each, 10 binders all together!
We only take all of those traders when we go to the special pin events.
Putting that much weight in our luggage would cost us a fortune with the airlines, and we don't have to drag that weight around the airport and resort.
It's worth it to us to tip bell services for bringing the box(es) to our room.
