the last several years its been august so I can't imagine it would change between now and may, but of course disney could always change their mind at any time.
Does anyone know if there are any plans for ticket prices to change between now and May?

Ticket prices traditionally go up the first Sunday in August.
But, as always, it's subject to change without notice!

Nothing I have heard...but they keep pretty tight lids on ticket increases. Most people involved don't know until a day or two before, if that - the ticket CMs themselves find out when they arrive to work that day.

Haven't heard anything, but expect the 8 to 10% August increase.
August is always what I have heard. That's why we get our AP in summer if possible.
Ok I'm holding onto the August thing too. I just wanted to be sure because I had been out of the loop for a bit.

I seem to recall that the last couple of years when ticket prices went up, there was a bit of buzz about it a few days ahead of time. I'd assume it will happen in August but keep a look out on the forums for posts about ticket prices. That being said, I'd think at some point these price increases at least need to slow down, don't they? A one park one day ticket seems a bit expensive for AK.
Didn't they just go up in the fall of 2010?
I think the last time was August 2010. I could be mistaken - wouldn't be the first time!
It's sad how we know when prices increase. It's even sadder that they increase so regularly.

I usually buy a seven or ten day ticket. The no expiration feature is what kills me. But, I don't have to buy another ticket for literally seven or more years. One day romping through the parks per four to five day visit is plenty, when you add in a Christmas or Halloween party.
i always seem to buy my tickets just before the price hike in august... i try to buy them at a Disney store... not that it matters anymore...
