    Given that you can't exactly take a monorail just anywhere (and they could probably de-energize the rail in a second if someone did manage to somehow abscond with a train, which isn't easy either...), there would be limited security risk involved in that sense.

    Agreed, but the same - granted the difference in scale - had been said prior to Madrid.

    At the same token, it would seem unethical on Disney's part to "screen" passengers before entering a monorail cockpit...Disney World is one of the safest places on earth...people are looking to have fun, and there's just way too many people as a deterrent for there to be even a threat

    Now, if they were to start bag checks, etc. before getting on the monorail in reaction to Madrid...
