I just googled it and came up with this...
"The structure was designed with the help of science fiction writer Ray Bradbury, who also helped write the original storyline for the attraction"
I guess you can say it's true then.
For my English class i had to read Fahrenheit 451. Now I am having to write a paper over it.... Well i was look up an article someone wrote about it and i finish reading and one of the last lines was about the author Ray Bradbury. One of the last things that it says is that he helped create Spaceship Earth in Epcot. And i was wondering if that was true or not. And if it is what were his contributions to Spaceship Earth? It is funny how I even though i am not a big outside Disney reader that a book that i as forced to read(and really read and completed(cause we have been assigned 11 and i have only read and completed 3 of the books.....)) had some sort of link to Disney and i didn't even know it!! Haha well thanks for the help!!

I believe he influenced the creation/construction/concept literarily.

He was invlved and believe he was menitoned as such in :Four Decades of Magic".
he was involved in the project... not only was part of the design of the structure... he also helped create the storyline and the internal metaphors located within the early versions of the attraction... i am not sure if his elements are all still part of the attraction... i would think many have been changed through the years but you never know...

Interesting.
I had to read that book at school years ago and then had to watch an am-dram production of it at a drama festival. It was so awful I wanted to scratch my eyes out... even thinking about it makes me sad.

Yeah the book was ok but i read it and i still can't believe i did. But i find it weird that maybe the reason i finished the book was so i could write this paper on it and discover his connection to WDW. Or the fact that somehow in my mind i thought i might link it to WDW and read it without me knowing and i did link it back.
