Have a D23 Question, not sure where to post it.

My mother is offering to purchase me a membership in D23, which sounds great! I looked through the website information about what that includes and it all sounds good.

I guess what I'm not sure I understand is how much a D23 membership impacts your trips to WDW or DL. Are there member benefits in the parks? Discounts on merchandise? Special events or seatings for events?

I'm not saying I need this stuff, just curious more than anything what is included before I ask my mom to spend $75 or more on me.

There's no in-park merchandise discounts that I'm aware of but there might be some on fine art within park bounds. There are, however, discounts at participating Downtown Disney retailers which are outlined on the D23 Discounts page. But no, nothing park-related.

As the PP mentioned, there aren't usually in-park discounts offered, but there are member perks at DTD.
