Extra Magical Things...
For my upcoming trip in June, I want to do some stuff that is simple but magical. I have made a list and so far on the list is like meeting my favorite characters, go on a ride we never ride. What are some other ideas?

Re: Extra Magical Things...
There are so many!! It really depends on what you like to do and who you're going with...
-got to the beach at the poly for fireworks and dole whips
-spend a night walking the boardwalk and going to Jellyrolls
-Explore some of the resorts (go see the geyser at Wilderness Lodge, fishing and Yee Haw Bob at PO Riverside, ...)

Re: Extra Magical Things...
Just a few attractions that I like to use in the Magic Kingdom to slow down and look around at all the scenery are the Walt Disney World Railroad, Liberty Square Riverboat and Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

Although delicious, I think the most "magical" think you might see is the technicolor yawn following eating that whole thing

Re: Extra Magical Things...
Have you parked yourself on the beach and watched the water pageant?
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.

Jellyrolls and Yee Haw Bob sound great but I will only be 17 when we go =[.

Re: Extra Magical Things...
Resort hop on the monorail line?

Re: Extra Magical Things...
Climb the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse at night. Very magical.

Re: Extra Magical Things...
YES! One of the most under-appreciated attractions on property. Been a huge favorite of mine since I first saw it in the 70's.
I always wanted to live there.

Re: Extra Magical Things...
You considered one of the tours? Whether with Lou himself or the Disney ones.
My favourite is undiscovered future world, which comes with exclusive pin and priority viewing for illuminations
Or even better the Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom
Fabulous wide range of desserts and an excellent view of wishes
Obviously Segway Tours are cool but Im not sure on the minimum age for that.

Re: Extra Magical Things...
Characters in Flight, roasting marshmallows / horse rides at fort wilderness, watching a movie on the beach at the beach club (or many of the other resorts)
You could also play some games in the parks. Obviously looking for hidden mickeys. The last time I was there we also tried to collect all the Fastpasses!

Pretty sure the minimum age for Segway tours are 16. That's what they generally are elsewhere.
I'd love to do the Future World tour. How long is that? Might try that when we go next Christmas.
wdfan, have you done Characters in Flight? Is it worth the time? Looks kinda cool, but I wasn't willing to pull the trigger when we were there in 2010.

I haven't done it yet, but I'm going in a couple weeks and would love to give it a try! We attempted to go on it last visit but it was closed for the weather. Has anyone else done it? If I remember right, it's relatively inexpensive...
