I don't think there is a single "best" time to go, it's all a tradeoff. During low crowds, they tend to do a lot of refurbishments and park hours are significantly shorter. Christmas week is a huge celebration but there are monster crowds. I suppose if you pushed me I'd probably say the first half of December. Low crowds, in full holiday mode, cooler weather, and I don't think any major tour group activity has picked up (see: Jan).
Agreed with the weepstah, as usual. Late November through the second week of December. January. Mid to late May before Memorial Day weekend is also a great time.
i'm not saying there is but if you had to pick one time of the year every year what would it be?
We just told you.
We love going the last week in August into September. My family loves hot weather, we are fish so we love hanging out at the water parks and the pools.
We've tried December a few times and it's always cold. I laugh because everyone says its "an unusual cold streak" . crowds have died down from full summer.
This trip we're going in October.
