California Grill too late reservation?

Just like everyone else I want to see the Wishes from CG. However, the only reservation I can get for the day I need is 9:30. I booked it just to grab it but the fireworks are scheduled for 9 that night and the website says the restaurant closes at 10. Does this mean we will be asked to leave after only 30 minutes? Also, is there any chance that by arriving super early (say 8) that we may get a seat? Initially I wanted to time it perfectly to watch the fireworks between entree and dessert, but since the trip booking was fairly last minute (3 months early) Im worried that I am stuck with this time.

From what I understand, you can go to CG early and watch the fireworks on the balcony before your reservations, even get a drink from the bar if you want. And they won't Kick you out, but you may notice the restaurant get emptier as no new reservations arrive. We've been at O'hanas for closing time and that was how it worked.

Thank you for your feedback. I feel much better about my reservation now. I will keep checking the reservation site for an earlier one, but wont be stressed if I dont get it. Thanks!
