Parking the car and going throughout Disney
We have never had to worry about this before since we always stayed on property, but I have a question about parking at the parks. We are staying off site and will be driving everyday. Can I park at the parking lots for the water parks or Downtown Disney, then use Disney transportation to go to the park of the day? My thought process is that I don't want to deal with traffic, so I would like to park at the closest lot to us, then leave the driving up to a bus driver, monorail operator, boat operator, or whatever.
Also, once I pay for parking, can I come and go? Thanks in advance!

Re: Parking the car and going throughout Disney
I wouldn't recommend it. For one thing, DTD and the water parks have limited hours and/or late start of running time. Also, they don't go directly to the parks (so you would have to go to a resort first, then to the park). So you are looking at a lot of travel time before you even get to the park

Re: Parking the car and going throughout Disney
There are all sorts of ways to park for free but in the long run it is a lot more stress and travel time. I'd pick a park parking lot and leave the car there if you don't want to drive around. Some people park hop with their cars. My DS always left his (when we were with him) in the parking lot of the last park we planned on visiting that day.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.

Re: Parking the car and going throughout Disney
I'd park at the lot for the Park you are visiting. Once you pay your fee for the day, you can drive to any lot with no further charge. If you really dislike driving during the day, then park at the Park where you are going to finish your day and take Disney transportation from there.

Re: Parking the car and going throughout Disney
Thanks all. I hope no one thinks I'm trying to shortchange anyone. I don't mind paying the parking fee, I just hate driving down there and thought I might park in the closest lot then rely on Disney transportation.

I would recommend taking your car from park to park and keep your parking ticket, you have in/out abilities at other lots on property as well.
