I know part of the music is from the movie Explorers, from 1985. It starred Ethan Hawke, the late River Phoenix, and Jason Presson. If you go to Amazon.com and search for the soundtrack you will find it.
Hello! My problem is sort of two-fold. I rode Soarin' for the first time the day before yesterday, and I heard some music in the queue that I KNOW. (I'm a music major, this sort of thing drives me insane.) I know it wasn't ET, because I heard that, or Patton, or any of the other movies I've been able to find mentioned concerning Soarin'... but I know it IS a movie. Thus:
a) Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of movie soundtracks used in the Soarin' queue?
b) Does anyone happen to know where I can obtain an mp3 of the queue music?

I am not sure what is playing in the queque area. I do enjoy the music in the ride. It might be an original score for the ride?![]()

Yes, the ride is an original score... by Jerry... Jerry something. Who also does movie music (as is kind of evident). The queue music is supposed to be mostly from movies, many of which have something to do with flying. I heard one bit of it, though, that I recognized as a movie I know well, but none of the movies mentioned have done it. (I also recognized ET, but that I knew right off the bat.)
At least one of them was from Emma starring Gwyneth Paltrow and another is from the movie Medicine Man with Sean Connery. I also enjoy the queue music.
My guess if it's a Jerry is it was Jerry Goldsmith. He did quite a few soundtracks. Hope this helps!Originally Posted by jadezuki

I've recorded the load music and ride music multiple times and as I've also downloaded it off of Limewire. If it bother's you enough...I'd suggest downloading it yourself.
I couldn't find it on Limewire, but I'll keep looking! Thanks!

Wow...not on Limewire..thats a new one....curse my dial up...I'd love to send the songs to you but my internet would be the issue there. Well if Limewire doesn't work try all the other download wares out there.
I'm going tothis thread up to the front rather than making a new one.
I know this thread is old, but I found the queue music on mousebits a couple of days ago and I am also wondering what the names of some of the music is. I know a few (like the old Battlestar Galactica T.V. show, Air Force One, Apollo 13, and Dave) but some of them I know but I can't place them. Could someone PLEASE help! It's driving me nuts!!!
