Here is another site for Mousekeeping Envelopes

As far as the towel animals go, from my understanding not all houskeepers even know how to make them and tipping is based on thier service not the animals. We only got animals once or twice but when the kids were small they "posed" thier stuffed animals really cute. We had no idea about i at the time and it was a magical suprise for us.

I'll try to dig up some of the photos.

No, I wasn't joking! I looked everywhere for it! They let me back in the room to search in there Monday morning, but it was GONE! *sigh* I'll just have to get another on next time I'm there

I wasn't expecting towel animals on our last trip in 2004, but I was hoping they would pose the toys in some way, we had our 2 DD's (8 & 2 at the time). My biggest surprise was that the envlopes weren't even taken! My older DD spent a lot of time decorating each one with at different character theme(five in all) It was kind of a shame all her hard work went to waste. I wasn't cheaping out on the tip either, it was a decent amount. Oh well we ended up with some more spending money.

I have always printed MouseKeeping envelopes to leave the tip in. My envelopes were the ones from Heidi Wolff's site. They say "Thank You MouseKeeping" in English and for the maid in Spanish (a lot of the MouseKeepers speak no English at all).

On our last trip we had a wonderful MouseKeeper. She left us washtowel critters and posed my three Pal Mickeys almost every day. She told me that in order to do the washtowel critters, she has to take the washclothes home with her at night and supplies her own rubberbands and stickers.

I have preinted envelopes before, but have never thought of the Spanish translation. Great idea!
