    Everest Mountain Tip

    Does anyone know what material is used on the outside of the mountain to produce the look of snow? At first I thought it was just paint, but when I got to the top and looked close, it looked like very bright beach sand.

    I don't recall if they actually SAID what the material is, but a podcast from Disney through the Disney.com website has a podcast from 2/23/06. It might answer your question. It talks a lot about what obstacles the imagineers had to make an outside shell and the rollercoast separate and working together.
